Debuting at this year’s London Wine Fair is Brewhouse – a dedicated beer section aimed at putting beer in front of a new audience of buyers. I helped curate the section which will be, “a table top tasting dedicated to small batch, specialist and craft beers…” and, “… comes off the back of a hugely successful Pop Up International Beer Competition tasting at the 2013 London Wine Fair, which attracted large numbers of visitors and reflects the burgeoning interest in craft beer from the independent and on-trade sectors as well as the multiple grocers.”

The following breweries headed the queue to sign up to exhibit.
Harviestoun ♦ Batemans ♦ Liberty Beer (wholesalers) ♦ Fordham & Dominion American Craft Beers ♦ Meantime Brewery ♦ Freedom Brewery.
They’ll all have some very fine brews for sampling and some will be previewing new beers which LWF visitors will get to try before anyone else. I can reveal that Batemans Brewery is debuting Batemans Gold a 3.9% zesty citrus flavour beer and Meantime Brewery will have the not-yet-launched new beer from its Brewers’ Collection – The Black Russian! Many other brewers remained tight-lipped about their plans so be sure to hit Brewhouse as soon as you can or risk missing out on some very special beers.

Also exhibiting are:
Beer Academy ♦ Budvar UK Ltd ♦ Mastri Birrai ♦
Roscoe’s Hop House and Steven Point ♦ Shepherd Neame ♦ Wadworth & Co ♦
Wild Beer Co ♦ Laurelwood Brewing Company ♦
Love Drinks – featuring Einstök beers ♦ Bear Brewery Co. Ltd ♦
BrewDog ♦ Westside Drinks ♦ Bath Ales ♦ The Old Dairy Brewery ♦
Portobello Brewery ♦ Siren Craft Brew.
